Christmas table at Carlshäll is an experience that starts on the journey here. You travel on our cozy Christmas boat m/s Rödlöga from Klara Mälarstrand, where you experience a pleasant trip across Riddarfjärden while you enjoy hot mulled wine and see the lights of the city over the waters of Lake Mälaren.

When you arrive after about 15 minutes of travel, a short walk awaits you along the Christmas garland-lit road up to Carlshäll. Expect to be welcomed by Vodka King LO Smith and all the beautiful indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations!  

And last but not least, the lovely Christmas table signed by head chef Timmy and his fine team in the kitchen. Even in the dining rooms, you will meet the same friendly service staff who have welcomed our guests in previous years.

Transportation

Julbord reservations include the boat trip with mulled wine on board and coffee after the meal. M/S Rödlöga (or Tranan) departs from Klara Mälarstrand 30 min before each sitting and no registration is needed to take the boat here! Just get on board, get a hot mulled wine in your hand and enjoy the trip on Riddarfjärden! *Please note that the boat does not go back after the end of the session, taxis can however drive all the way to the front and pick you up and it is only a short walk to the nearest bus and subway Hornstull! We have our own and free parking spaces but only in a very limited number so avoid taking the car.

Seating

Also keep in mind that the Christmas table in the Manor Building is laid out in the Great Dining Room on the ground floor and most guests sit in the salons on the upper floor, which means that you have to go up and down the stairs during the trips to the table. If anyone in your party has a problem with this, please tell us when booking and we can place you in the Lilla dining room on the ground floor. In Brännvinskungens Sal, everything is on one level.

Open as a private salon for at least 70 guests. The minimum number of 70 guests to be able to dispose of the hall entirely by themselves also applies on the other days. You then also have the boat out all by yourself!

These days we are cashless at Carlshälls Gård. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners or an invoice by agreement in connection with booking. The final number of guests, which is what will be charged, is notified to Carlshäll 14 days in advance.
